A pairs tournament was commenced on the Levin bowling green yesterday afternoon and keen and enjoyable games resulted. The green wae in good order. Following are the results of the games:— First Round. Larking (skip) and Currie 46; defeated Palmer (skip) and Pink 12. Jamiesoii - (skip) and Suhan 19 defeated Grover (skip) and v\ r allace 7. * Pyke (skip) and Eccleton 7, defeated Mclntyre (skip) and Fox 3. Roe (skip) and Bartholomew 13 defeated Porteous (skip) and Ingram 11 (Second Round.) Laking (12) defeated Jamieson (9). Porteous (24) defeated Mclntyre 5. Pyke (15) defeated Roe (7). Palmer (14) defeated Grover (10).
The finals remain to be played beween Larking and Pyke.
