March 3. • At the Addington live stock market to-day there were small entries of fat stock and medium yarding of store sheep, but the attendance was the largest for several weeks past, as the harvest is now practically over. Fat cattle showed a sharp rise and store and fat sheep and fat lainsb sold better.
ytoio Sheep.—Forward 2-tooth wethers to 20s, ordinary 2-tooth wethers to VJh, cull 2-tooth wethers 10s 4d, good 4-tuoth halfbred owes to 23s 6cl, good 1-tooth crossbred ewes 20s 9d to 21s, good 2-tooth ewes to 19s 4d, cull 2tooth owes 12s 10d ; good sound mouth ewes los, fairly forward lambs to 16s 3d, small lambs 8s to 10s 3d, cull lambs (is Gel to 7s 9d. Fat Lambs.—Best lambs made 17s 6d to 225, others 14s 3d to 17s. l''at Sheep.—Prime wethers 21s to 28s, others los to 20s 6d, prime owes 20s to •Jos 4d, medium -16s 6d to 19s 6d, othars 13s to 16s. j Fat Cattle—Ordinary steers £5 15s to £12 extra steers to £18 2s 6d, ordina -y heifers £6 os to £8 10s, ordinary cows £6 10s to £8 os, extra cows to £13 &s, prices of beef per 1001b 34s to 445.
