BOWLING.
LEVIN v. PALMERSTON. Two rinks of bowlers from Levin :inlted Palmerston North on Wednesday ami played two games against the nioiuliers of the "Sausage" team. The games were good ones and were closely fought out, there being only three points difference in the aggregate scores; this was in favour of the "Sausages." When these teams met ; n Levin a short while back the local team won on the aggregate by jne point, the scores then were 39—38. This time the scores were -10—37. These matches in future will be an annual fixture. , The visitors were entertained at dinner and afternoon tea "by the Parlmerston players, and tho day proved an enjoyable one. Following are the scores:—Palmerston "Sausage" team—Hodgson (skip). Larking. Brown, E. Nash. 25. Lovin— Porleous (skip). Pyke, Wallace", Pink, 17. Levin.—Jamieson (skip). Roe Lancaster, Ingram, 20.
