Prices are still ruling high and thore is every indication that they '.viLl atfvanoe. Chaff, prime O.S. quality has hardened {luring the past week, and oats are very firm at famine prices. There is some, new season's wheat offering in the Marton district, but prices are quoted in sympathy with southern markets. Potatoes are in good demand on tho Wellington market as much as £8 IDs per ton having been oUt'ained. We quote: \Vheat 8s M per bushel; feed barley da; see;, oarloy 6s 3d; feed oate 4s 8d to ss; seed k> 5s 6d ; pig meal 13s 6d sack; oaten straw chaff £4 10s; bran 14s sack; pollard 20s sack; tares 16s o lie; sucrosine 18s per sack; shell grit 4s Tsd per lOOlbs ; blood meal 5s 6d per small bag; meat and bone iiieal 5s od pw small bag.
