A NELSON MAN AND HIS WIFE

A message was received in Nelson last woek by his relatives, that Ma - Wool combe and his wife, tho former a mechanic of the Eastern Gable Company's staff, at Singapore, had been killed. No particulars were allow to transpire as to how they had lost their lives, but in the light of to-day's cables, re the mutiny at Singapore, it is possible it waS in the riot there. Wooloombo was an old Nelson boy and only a few months ago married Miss Michie,' a daugjhter of a former Dunedin manager of the Bank of New Zealand. Those particulars are now published by permission of the censorship.

It was also decided that all Past Grand Presidents should be made Honorary life members of the Grand Lodge and al- ' lowed to attend the meetings.
