WAIKANAE SALE. Messrs Abraham and Williams Ltd. report having held their monthly sale at Waikanae on Tuesday last. Stock came forward well over advertised numbers, and all classes sold under the hammer after keen competition. There was a large attendance of the public, buyers being well represented from the suprrounding districts. With the ex ception of one small pen of lambs we had a total clearance under the hammer. Prices realised were as under: On account of R. H. Elder, Esq., litiMtth wethers (good) I7s; shdrn lambs 8s 3d; 2-toloth wethers (small) 14s 3d. On account of Messrs Monk Bros, 2tooth wethers 15s, f.f.m. ewes 14s lOd. On account of S. Corner Esq. 2-tooth ewes 16s. On acoount of M. J. Lynch Esq.,. 2-footh wethers 15s l'Od. .On account of Mrs Drewitt, mixed 2-tooths 15s, woolly lambs lis. On acoount of F. Corduks. Esq., shorn lambs (small) 7s Id. On account of H. B. Buchanan. Esq., 6.m. ewes 13s Sol l , wethers 15s Id, others prices s.m. ewes 12s 4d to 18s 21 2-tooth ewes (small) 13s 4d, lambs 6s to 7s 6d. eull lambs 5s 3d, cull owes 8s f)d, weaners 255. 265, 275. 34s to3Bs; yearling steers £2 .13s; yearling heifers £2 18s 6d, 20-month to 2-year sters £4 to £4 19s, 3-year steers £7, fat cows C 6 17s, store cows £3, £4 3s 6<t. £4 ss, to £4 13s; venlers 2(3t, ?j-year steers £5 10s, fat bullocks £10 TOs; bulla £3 Is, £4 15s. £5, £5 17. £8 10s to £9.
