[By our Resident Representative.] The Re-v. K. B. Cominn has returned to Shannon ii-oiu hi.s trip to Pictoii. The Rev. C. Palmer will bo back 'or •Septi i agosi ui a Su nd ay. Mr Marshall, foreman lor Mr W. 11. Gunning, has accepted an appointment in Levin and leaves Shannon on February 6. Members of the Shannon Tennis Club will be interested to know that the Levin Tennis Chub have issued a. circular inviting tho various clubs in the district to attend n meeting on February 2nd to arrange lor a tournament at Easter. The suggestion is a capital one and) well merits tho support of the various clubs.
