During her last season—a little over twelve months—this cow gave 22,()011bs of milk, equal to 7871bs of butter-fat. In 3eo days she gave 21,42'J1bs of milk, equal to 758.321bs- of butter-fat. To this must be added the value of the skim milk—l7lß gallons at id gallon, the value usually placed on skim milk— £3 lls 7d. This gives a return from tho milk alone of £41 9s lid. In addition to this her last calf, a bull, was sold when eleven months old for 290 guineas, or £364 10s, a total from nno. cow for twelve months of £345 19s lid.
