HOROWHENUA A & P ASSOCIATION
♦ ■ I'inal entries for the above Association's ninth annual show to be held on the Racecourse, Levin, on Wednesday, the 27th January, 1915, closed on Saturday last and will prove to be' a record both in numbers and quality of exhibits. In the cattle classes tho entries are far in excess of any previous year, especially in the purebred stsction, which will undoubtedly be worth a visit of inspection. Tho sheep classes are equally well lilled which section also shows a marked improvement, both in quality and number. The horses and competitions have received their share of patronage also, there being some 220 entries in this section alone, which will go to show that tho public can look forward to an interesting day's outing, and will witness some very fine classes of horses in the ring. There are some firty odd entries in pigs, which number has only been beaten once in the existence of the Association, and although perhaps beaten previously in numbers will take a deal of beating in quality. Judging by the generous support given to the Association, in every way this year's show, if favoured with fine weather, points to being the most successful one they have experienced in every respect.
