Good crops are general, and the supply for the future seems assured at a reasonable rate. Canterbury onions promise well and much lower prices will prevail when the crop is fairly <om the market. Fowl wheat is etill showing no signs of any fall in value, and is almost unprocurable. Oats have advanced consequent on an export trade with Australia being in sight. Plump feed barley and good maize are really the mainstay of the poultry-keepers just new, and good) orders for both 'ines are coming to hand. Grass seed orders continue to roll in. Imported Irish ryegrass of excellent quality and high germination is largely taking place of the heavier weights in local grown lines. Seed oats are going to be exceedingly scarce, particularly Algerians. Western Wolths ryegrass having proved one of the best crops for winter green feeds for cows, etc., is now in great demand. Reports from many quarters indicate to us the growing popularity of this splendid grass. Eggs are stationary. Pork.—Prices are maintained, notwithstanding large supplies.
