EVENTS IN SHANNON

The Shannon contingent of the Territorials, numbering over thirty, entrained for the encampment at Takapau at 2.80 a.m. on Sunday morning. Mrs Stanseli, senr., has gone for a short holiday to Rotorua. Mr Pringle has the contract for the erection of offices Park, solicitor, who is to comrrnnice business in Shannon. The building will comprise two shops and a suite of offices in Stanscll's block, Plimmer Terrace.
