The executive committee of ILlc Snowflake Fair desires tu lender its most hearty thanks to the many givers of gifts in cash or kind which made it possible to provide' so excellent a display of varied commodities. Special thanks arc due to Mr J. It. McDonald for the gift of a sheep and to the Levin Meal Company for tongues. Among many who helped in various ways- -in addition to stallholders already mentioned—were Mesdames Middlemiss and Young, Misses 'Stewart, Winnie Walker, Kemp and Gr. Better, Messrs Alex Murray, Harvey Murray, A. McTaggert, P. Stewart, W. Stewart, •i. Stevenson, and other willing helpers. The great success attending the fair is very gratifying to the committee and especially to Mrs McTaggart, secretary of the Ladies Guild, who laboured throughout with unremitting diligence and zeal. A lengthy report _on the annual general meeting of "Levin Y.M.C.A is crowded out to-day: also a report on the valedictory social to Mr I. Bawson. Both accounts will he printed in Monday's Chronicle.
