Messrs llitehings and Hankins, Limited advertise particulars of a clearing sale to be held to-morrow of the furniture and effects of the late Mrs Anderson.

Four cottages and landed sections in Levin are to be sold on Friday, Gth May, at auction, by older of (lie mortgagee. Details r are* set out by advertisement on 'page 2. A man or a strong- youth for delivery work is advertised for by Messrs Haswell Bros., grocers, Levyi. The Levin firm of Messrs Parker and Vincent is about to widen its field of activities. It has acquired the centrally-situated promises, of Messrs Ban-on and Harris, opposite the Levin Public Library, and intends to ulillse them as an auction mart and produce-supply emporium. The premises are lo undergo considerable structural alterations, and tlie Bath street frontage will be extended 55ft, so as to provide ample and up-to-d;itc accommodation for grain, pollard, bran, etc., as it is the film's intention to conduct a food supply department for poultry fanners. Agricultural seeds and manure's for general farmers also wil l be stocked, and any machinery required for the farm or dairy will be supplied to order..
