Levin Stock Sales.
« There was a*n exceptionally heavy yarding of ■ all classes of stock at the sale yards yesterday. All qualities were represented— from very good to poor. lor sheep the demand was g >l'l. ana a clearance was effected in all lines. With such a vaivuion in quality, prices naturairy shewed great difference,' and la/abs sold from a few shillings «o 1?3 4d. Fat ewes, extra good, brought 19s -Id, and wethers to ail. The fat wether belonging 10 Mr 11. J. llichards, which took first prize at tlie Levin Show, was soil for Uos. In cattle good oeasts found new owners, but the demand was not keen, and cattle had n dragging sale, and for anything poor sellers had to let them go at the buyer's price or take them home. For pigs the demand was very good, and all pens were cleared at late rates.
