SEDITIOUS UTTERANCE

Wellington, This Day. Edward Hunter, one of the delegates to the Federation Conference in Wellington, was charged in the Magistrates Court to-day with having made a seditious utterance on Sunday. He was remanded till Monday. Bail was all owed--self in £250 and two sureties of £250 each. SPECIAL POLICE HONOURED. The Prime Minister, the Minister for -Justice, and others addressed the regular and special police last night, highly eulogising their services in the cause of law and order.
