Greymouth, This Day. The new union's application for registration has been accepted and the president of the old union has resigned. All the men employed on the s.s. Ilolmdale are members of the old union. It is understood that the old union will test the legality of the new union's registration, as the old union's registration under the Arbitration Act had not previously been cancelled. About 000 specials have been enrolled, and officers appointed. It is understood that the twenty-five regular police who left Wellington under subInspector McKinnon have been ordered to Westport, and will reach there to-day.
