A light dray, suitable for milk work, ia advertised for by Mr J. Shiargold, of Oliau. A desirable home, with 8$ acres of ground has to be sold in December to facilitate closing of partnership accounts. An advertisement on the matter from D. Smart and Co., land agents, appears to-day on page 4. Mr A. L. Williams, of the Lovn Tea Rooms, Oxford street, has a now advertisement to-day, on page 4. Mr Williams is receiving orders for Christmas cakes which he makes from the finest fruits. Wedding cakes are his specialty. Mr T. Harris, cash butcher, is still to the fore with prime meat. He intends to make a display this of ox beef, wether mutton, spring lamb, and dairy fed pork. Mr Harris specially invites the public to see this display. He buys for cash and sells for cash—thus ensuring mutual profits.

Haj'-forka and rakes, cream separators, and other requisites for the dairyfanner are on sale by Mr T. Broome, grocer, Weraroa, whose new advertisement appears to-day, on page 1. Some good cutlery is for sale cheap, and notable prices for groceries are set forth. Mr Broome is local agent for the Sherwi'n-Williams Company's arsenate of lead. We have to-day a replace advertisement from Mr A. Dempsej', of Oxford street, Levin, in regard to harness, every description of which he quotes as fully guaranteed, and undertakes to replace free of charge any portion failing to give full satisfaction in wear. Collars are carefully fitted by him, and all responsibility undertaken. He guarantees that* he sells at prices that are below those at which reliable harness can be landed in Levin by any other maker. The high quality of Mr Deupsey's goods and his prompt execution of repairs are wellknown. Farmers and others using harness in this district are well advised in inspecting Mr Dempßey's stock and prices before ordering elsewhero.

Mrs Collins, ~\V inchester street, has goosbeerries for sale at reasonable charges.
