KING'S THE ATI! K There was a good audience (o witness (he programme of pictures shown at the King's Theatre last evening. On Wednesday evening eleven lengthy subjects wili be shown. "They are advertised on page I. The following is a synopsis of one of the main pictures entitled "A Woman" produced by the Vitagraph Company of Paris: Self-opinioncd and conceited, Robert Hamilton makes a deep impression with Ida Hi(ldietoi). She imagines she loves him, but he (reals her with his usual indifference, and flirts wilh others to test her. She marries Frank Martin for spite. On the day of his marriage, after they are wedded, she repulses him, says his- kisses are distasteful to her. They live in this way for months, during which time Ida grows to love him, and to appreciate the difference between him and a man of Hamilton's type. One evening, at a reception, Robert Hamilton enters intoxicated and forces his attentions upon her. She struggles to free herself from his embrace, and at this moment her husband enters the room. Completely upset by this incident she asks him to take her home. He escorts her to a taxi, and after she has entered closes the door after her and bids her good-night. FranlsM-eturns home. Ida enters and sits beside him explaining to him that she has learned to value his love, and longs to enjoy it and give him hers. Tie smiles forgiveness.
