+ , A largo number of slock was j .yarded at the local saleyards yesteixlay. Contrary to what might have been expected in these days of turmoil, a fine, strong, healthy tone, prevailed Ihroughout, and a good clearance was effected. The splendid growing weather now heing experienced has brought on abundant feed, and this has caused a keen demand for stores: consequently prices for this class of stock was extremely high. In fat stock bullocks brought up to £'10 l()s, and ht ewes m woo] realised 2Ks. Pigs had the usual quiet, but firm, demand.
