Levin Slock Sales were held yester. The attendance of buyers was good, but vendors had rushed the market with entries l , and aa a result there were decreased Aralues for some lines. Sheep, however, still were on a pinnacle, and fat bullocks were high-priced also. A pen of upstanding blacks from the pastures of Mr John Davies, Ivoputaroa, brought £12 per head. Top price for fat ewes wns given for a quinetette entered by Mrs Hi chard Prousc, £1 lAs per head. A line of sixty fat ewes brought £1 17s 2d and £110s -5d was given for a smaller line ot good ewes. Prices for fat pigs continued extra good, for young cattle the demand wns poor, and some lines went out unsold.
