This Day

Polling has been going on slowly and quietly this morning The day is beautifully tine. The Social-democrats are wearing red and blue colours, being the colours displayed by the Hannanites 011 Thursday hist. Supporters of both parties are confident. At the same time the opinion is that the totals will not show a large margin either way. Addresses by candidates and supporters during the week, were principally confined to attack and defence of the Federation of Labour, while sectarianism received prominence. Feeling, personal as well as political, has been worked up to a high pitch —-even to a greater extent than last Thursday.
