SETTLER'S SAD DEATH

GORE, Juno 22

As Mr J. McLean was proceeding from his father's farm, Blnckswamp, towards Balfour at about 6.30 p.m.. on Thursday, he discovered Mr A. Liddell lying on the road half a mile from his home. A horso was standing by. Liddell was only able to say that his horse had rolled on him. Liddell was severely injured, and died on Friday morning. Mr Liddell was a farmer at Blackswamp, and went to Lunisden on Thursday on business. On his way homo tho horse evidently stumbled, rolling on him. He was a hard-working, industrious settlor, and loaves a largo family.
