Elizabeth iiarfoot, who was horu on February 28, 1825, and entered the service of Mr and Mrs Dennis, of London and Kingscliffe, Northamptonshire, when 18 years old, wai in the service of the samo family when she died on April 12 at Kingscliffe, at the age of 88 years. In a little over four hours he had covered 210 miles and had passed over five countries, namely, England. France. Belgium. Holland, Germany. This Sight, undertaken with a passenger, easily constitutes «t record for a flight out of England. The previous host "out of England flights" were thos of Sopwith, from Shoppey Into Belgium, and by Prier, tho French airman, from London to Paris.
