WOOL, SKIN, HIDE AND TALLOW SALE. New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, report: At our fortnightly sale to-day there was a good attendance of buyers. Good competition was forthcoming for wool and skins, but hides met a rather dragging sale. Skins were about Jd per lb higher than last sale. We quote :— WOOL.—Lambs, seedy. 7Jd; medium 8d to BJd; crossbred fleece, coarse and seedy B.}d to 9d ; medium 8d ; fine lOd to 10} d ; merino to IOJd ; bellies and pieces s>|d to 7}d : locks and pieces, 4.Jd to 7|d; crutehings in bags, seedy, 5d to Od. SHEEPSKTNS. -Fine crossbred. SJd to 9Jd; coarse 7}d to 8d; medium BJd to B]d ; lambs 7sd to 7-Jd: broken and dead, od to 7|d ; pelts to halfwools to 7Jd. HIDES.—Ox. none offered : cow. to 8d; calf, 9d to lOd; calf, damaged. sjd to B}d. TALLOW.—Tn casks 28s to 28s finor cwt; in tins. 20s to 2ls 3d per cwt.
