Tlie resemblance between Jibenozer Albert and Albert Ebeiiezer, two ■Stevenage twins, Jilty years oi age, has again led to trouble, the remarkable likeness between tlie two Laving loci the police, so tliu «story goes, to imprison tho wrong one. This was Ebenezer Albert's complaint when, wearing a buttonhole, he applied to the liitchen (Herts) magistrates for compensation for | wrongful arrest, declaring that his brother Albert Ebenezer should have served the seven days' mprisonment tor poaching, which lie had just completed. Albert Ebenezer also wrote to the magistrates claiming that he was guilty, but the claim was dismissed. Only a few weeks Albert Ebenezer was sent to prison for a month for poaching. On this occasion Ebenezer Albert declared that he waß guilty, and that the police had failed to notice the difference between the two men. Between them they have been convicted nearly 150 times for poaching, and they state that at least a dozen times the wrong one received imprisonment.
