(Out coi lopondouto' opimouo aic their own; the icsponsibility oi editorial ouq& inakcvj suliieicnt Lalluiit for the Editor's shoulders). I THE PRICE OF EGGS. (To the Editor). I Sir.-- Friction has been caused in Levin by deductions lor so-called "small eggs" made by a "Wellington agent. Sixty-eight dozen of these eggs, originally packed for the Levin Egg Circle, but afterwards directed to a chance firm in a hurry, have brought a cheque for the full •amount for guaranteed fresh, full size, and with no deductions of any kind whatever. The fact is th.it the Wellington agency can han !!e the AVnirarapa supply, but is quite unequal to those and Levin's combined. The Poultry Industries. Limited, now being formed, .should meet the .situation. -Yours, etc.. 11. LEGER, YVoraroa. Ith .March. 11)12". A QUERY. Sir, —The one l-hing that was very noticeable yesterday, at tile opening of the Levin Flower Show, was the absence of Mr Robertson, M.P. for Otaki. Surely the secretary, in issuing invitations, did not overlook our member? The invitation to the Premier to open the show, should also have been done through our member. In public affaire there should be no personal feelings. If we do not*care for the man, then his position alone demands common courtesy. Tf he "was" invited, then lie (Mr Robinson) should have sent an apology to the .secretary for his absence —Yours, etc.. THOMAS WALKER.
