Boy's Training Farm.

THE EGULETON MEDALS. The manager of the Boys' Training Farm at Weraroa (Major G. M. liurlinson) mentioned at the annual prize giving, in December, tlifit Mr W. Eggleton, the head teacher of the Institution Day School, was going to make liis usual gifts of medals to tho boys in each standard, the dux of tho school, and the senior boy in the sixth stand,ml, to liavo a gold uied^l. The order was placed, but was not completed in timo. The medals have since been received, and their recipients are:— Standard Vl.—Gordon -Brass. Dux of tho school, gold medal. Standard V.—Frederick Poulton, silved medal. Standard IV.—O. Frederick Tapp, silver medal. Standard 11 [.—Arthur Ashton, silver medal. Standard 11. Stephen Neary, silTer medal. Standard I.—Walter Widdas, silver medal. The results of the examination last year were very gratifying, and tho manager expressed his obligation to Mr Eggleton for tho handsome presents he gave the boys, and nlso for the successful work that lie had done in connection with Mr S. C. Gascoigno, Assistant teacher.
