Lodge representing the Horowhenua County Council), with a view to adjusting accounts between the two bodies. It wa>> reported that, the valuation of the County was £2,530.303. valuation of the Otaki 'Hiding £1(51.805. valuation of the Town Hoard .District, L' l"21 ,'22(). Half of the general and special rates collected in the town district to 31st March. 1013, bv the Council will be handed over or credited to the Town Hoard, tho latter to be also credited with a proportion of the hotel licenses collected within the town district as from September 30. 1912. to 30 til duns. 1913 (nine months), equal to three-fourths of £125 (£93 15s). less 'share of licensing expenses £30 (£73 15s).
