At the inquest on the body found ii]) the Otaki river recently, the late Mr Stanley Boattie's brother expressed some doubt as to the body being that of lii.s brother. He stated thai he bad in his possession an old set of artificial teeth that were his brother's, and expressed a- wish that these might be compared with the set found with the body, in order that all doubt might be set at rest. The police have had this .wish carried out. and an expert dentist, after very carefully taking impressions of both sets of teeth, and compared same, found them exactly alike, and is emphatically of the opinion that the two sets must have been east for the same man. This evidence, together with the identification of various articles found on the 'body, proves that the body discovered must have been that of the i unfortunate man Beaifie. who was lost in the bush sit North Manakau. ■Otaki Mail.
