LEVIN AND DISTRICT BEAUTIFYING SOCIETY. At the committee 'mooting last night, at which the president (Mr. Matior) took the chair, thcro was a fair attendance. A copy of a letter sent to the Scenery Preservation Bo.iril in referonco to the Waiopohu Domain was placed beforo the committee and approvod. Membership tickets were available to members of the commintee. A box of eucalyptus ticifolia, which had generated splendidly, containing soiao fifty plants, w r as brought to the meeting for the committee's inspection.
