# WOOL SALES. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., have received the follou'ing cablegram from their London Office, <lntotl 24 th inst.:— "The wool .sales opened with a largo attendance of buyers. Competition is animated, hut there is an indifferent selection. So far hardly any Merinos have been offered. As compared with last sale's closing rates for Merinos, a change, if any. is in sellers favour. Fine and medium cross-breds are from par to 5 per cent, higher, and coarse crossbreds are 5 per cent, to 1\ per cent, higher." STOCK RKI'OK-T.
