The party leave by the Main Trunk train tin's morning, and will arrive at Ghristehurch ion Thursday. Messrs Rice and Dunlop are other members of the team. Mr Rice left Sydney yesterday and. arrives at Wellington on Wednesday. Mr Dunlop arrives at Auckland on December 17. The team is the strongest Australasia I could send, excluding Wilding. Interviewed Mr Brookes said : — Wilding; cannot be expected to devote his whole life to tennis. I think he is quite right in deciding not to come to New" Zealand.
