<j> Cpbr prms ABSOOIATION-'J DUN'EDIN, November 6 .It is reported that the small steamer Rakiura has been chartered by the Sorenser.-May syndicate to convey a salvaging party to the Auckland Islands to explore the wreck of the American ship General Grant, in search of the gold believed to have been sunk there when the vessel was lost in 1866.
