[PKR PREB9 ASfIOCttWOSt * (Received This Day, 11.30 a.m.) ROTTERDAM, August 9. The boiler of the steamer Gutenberg exploded and the vessel sank. Two of tho crew were killed and two were seriously injured. A number of passengers were also injured. GIBRALTAR, August 9. During a fog the British steamer ■Silverton collided with the French steamer Emir, near Tarffa. The latter foundered and 21 of tho crew and (i 9 passengers were drowned.
