CORRESPONDENCE
[Our correspondents' opinions ar© their own; the responsibility of editorial ones makes sufficient .ballast for the editor's shoulders.] THE EUCHRE PARTY AGAIN. To the Editor. Sir, —I am sorry "Fair Play" did not hear the secretary tell me at the euchre party that I was the winner. If 'he is still in doubt- about it J would refer him to the secretary, and to a gentleman who was with nie when I was told; whose name I wili give if " Fair Play" wishes to ask him about it. I did not say it was a tie, for the other laldly concerned told me as she left the tables that she had only nine games, therefore I refused to play when she came out of the supper room later on claiming a tie with me. I wish "Fair Play" (as lie still signs himself) to know that I did accept the prize and felt justified in doing ho. In conclusion. "Fair Plav,'' take my advice:' Never go where you are likely to suffer defeat, if you cannot take it quietly.— Yours, etc., C. E. TUOHY.
