The Rangitikci Advocate tolls a story of a dog which was locked up for six days in a Road Board office. When it was released it was dliscovered that it not only was emaciated from hunger, but it was in iparoxysims of pain. Investigations revealed the fact that it had devoured several copies of Hansard, and these proved altogether too much for its digestivo organs.
