The Prince of Wales was initiated as chief of the Welsh Boy Scouts. (Chronicle Note: The following paragraph gives some interesting details in connection with the Prince's Investiture: "On a- specially-con-structed platform in the centre of the Castlo square, the Mayor and Corporation will receive tho Royal visitors and present addresses ot welcome. Tho Royal party will then proceed down Castlo square and enter tho Castlo at the ancient Water Gate on the sea front, the Royal Welsh Choir <of 400 voices meanwhile singing a portion of the special musical programme for tho day. A raised platform in tho centre of the great inner courtyard of the Castlo will bo the actual site of tho Investiture. Seating?; to accommodate from 12,000 to 15,000 guests will be provided on specially-con-structed stagings ranged round the interior walls of the Castlo. _ Tho Royal party, having robed, will proceed in two processions by a special-ly-constructed roadway along the interior of the' Castle to the Investiture platform. Here tho Bishop of the diioceso (Bangor) and a representative Welsh Nonconformist minister will officiate. The Prince, immediately after being invested, will proceed to the celebrated Queen Eleanor's Gateway at the soultfern extremity of tho Castle, commanding a view of tho great Castle square and ttlie State Quay, which will ho cleared for the accommodation of the public.
