CORONATION CELEBRATIONS AT SHANNON.

Some citizens of Shannon seem pertiurbed by our suggestion that possibly the lodges and the cadets of their town would be inclined to ; participate in Levin's celebration of the Coronation. W e safeguarded our surmise by saying that it was madie on tlhie supposition that no local celebration would be arranged at Shannon. Judging by the tone of our Shammon correspondent's letter of yesterday, 'the northern township is agong with readiness to make Coronation Day a. memorable local ovent; and, that :being. so, this newspaper would not suggest for an instant that any outside town should endeavour to militate against thht success. That Shannon's celebration may do full justice to the occasion, and that ornr local representative may be second to none in the warmth of his patriotic fervour, is our earnest wish and desire.
