Horowhenua Rugby Union's approval of the doing away with wing forwards was discussed at last night's meeting of the New Zealand Rugby Union. The motion found several supporters, but on a vote being takfm it was declared lost. Some speakere contended that tlhe wing forward was all right as long as re- ' ferees did their duty and kept him on-side.
