A burglary took place at Mr Fritz LanscMi's curio shop in Shortland •street shortly after 12 o'clock last night, and curios to the value of £100 were stolen. The thief-broke the. .shop window with a beer bottle, and abstracted a- card containing valuable Maori eardrops. The crash awakened flic familv. who slept on the premises, and thus prevented further goor!s being taken.
