After another long pause the farmer observed "\ou ain't a lawyer, or you'd he talkin': you ain't a doctor, 'cause you ain t got a hag; and you ain't a preacher, from the looks of vmi. What is your profession?" "I am a politician. was the p'yThe farmer gave a snort of disgu.st. "Politics ain't no profession; politics is a disease," said he.
