ELECTION OF A BISHOP. AR.CHDEACON CROSSLEY SELECTED. [PKR PREBS ASSOCIATION.] AUCKLAND, February 22. The Anglican Synod_ of tilie Diocese of Auckland continued its sitting to-day, and again considered the appointment of a Bishop in succession to Dr. Neligaii. No official statement has been issued, but it is understood that Arcihdeacon Crossley, of Geelong (Victoria), has beon solected . It is also understood that •a cablegram has been sent to him, but that ino reply has yet foeen received.
