At the Supreme Courfc to-day, before the Chief Justice, Alexander Strachan was olwirged with attempted lnnrdei - of and doing grievous bodily harm to Herbert Sidney Bradley. Ho was found guilty on the lesser charge, and rocommended to mercy. Sentence was deferred till Saturday.
