FI'KH PUEBS ASSOCIATION.! WAIROA, This Day. The week's .southerly weather culminated with a terriblo gale with heavy rain on Saturday and Sunday. 3.'15 inches of rain fell in thirty-six hours. The river was heavy yesterday. No damage is reported. The growth of grass all over the district in the last few days Oias l)een phenomenal. GISBORN'E, Tin's Day. A fierce gale .lias been blowing along the coast. It is now moderating. The Moikoia, from Auckland, which had sheltered at Teararoa. last night, arrived in tihe bay at 10.40, and will bo tendered this afternoon.
