Messrs Dalgoty and Company report having received the following cable advices from their London Mouse under date the i27tli instant :
Wool Sales.—Attendance of buyers is large, competition, animated, selection fair. Medium crossbreds show an advance of 7J- per cent, coarse crossbreds an advance of 7} per cent. At the Addington live stock market to-dav there were moderate entries of stock and a good attendance. Fat cattle sold well. Fat slice]) showed a decided rise in consequence of a small yarding. Store she-ep met with good sale. Fat lani'bs brought lower rates, and pigs slightly improved in demand and price. The entry of .store sheep was about three times as large as last week, and was chiefly made up of hoggets. There was a. good demand for all classes, prices being a shade firmer, especially for hoggets. Good hoggets made 13s Id to l is. medium Os lid to lis (id. small 7s lid to !)s, ewe hoggets 15s (id to 17s sd, wethers l is to Kis (id. full-mouth owes with lambs lis (id, others Gs 3d to Gs Bd.
All counted there wore 51 fat lambs penned, a larger entry than last week, and prices showed a further decline, host sorts making lis .'ld to l(is fid, and smaller lis to Ms.
The yarding of fat sheep was a small one, and competition wa.s very keen, a West Coast hnyer operating against the local butchers. There was an irregular advance in ])rieos of Is to 2s per head.
