TAINUI v. KIA TOA.

A match between teams reprosentiii"- Kia Toa and Toinui eventuated" at Otaki on Saturday, and had only proceeded a little beyond half-time when a regrettable 'incident occurred' and 1 the game was stopped. A spectator rushed at Henry Rawiri as he was making a dun for the goal-line, taking him totally unawares. Henry received a nasty bump, \\'hich rendered him liors de combat, and he had to retire from the field. The refei-ee (.\l,r Jack Freeman) declined to go on with the game and play ceased. Tilie game, up till the time of stop : ping, was in favour of the Tainui Club, who led by five points to three.- Otaki Mail. WANDERERS v. LEVIN.
