Tjoraino experienced fine weather when crossing in his binplane from llolyhead to Ireland, but when at a height of three thousand feet the engine stopped fon - half a minute. This was repeated later oil and die machine lost power and gradually descended into the sixty yards from Lowth lightJioiise. M. Lovjiine swam ashore. The iieroplano was partly submerged, but was recovered.
