Following is a balance-sheet prepared iby Mr J. l\. Stan soil, sent , ., regarding the concert and danoe
held in the Druids' Hall, Shannon, in aid of the Children's New Hospital. Wellington :—
Receipts.—To sale of tickets, £7; sale of refreshments, 14s 8d; total, £7 14s Bd. Expenses.—Mr J. Rogers, £1; Mr Leo. Ashkens, £1; Mr Hayfield, 10s; caib hire for Boys' Training Farm Band, £1 10s; advertising in Chronicle. £1 10s; meals and beds for performers, 12s; Mr W. H. Gunning, for refreshments, £1 6s 8d; Druids' Hall, £1 10s; ham, 10s; total, £9 8s Bd.
Deficiency.—£l 14s. Mr Stansell has made up the deficiency out of his own pocket. He wishes to thank Mr G. N. Stephenson, Mrs F. Thomson, and Mr and Mrs Tilling for their help in various ways; also Messrs T. Lind and J Olsen, doorkeeper and ticketseller,^
