The main feature was the attacking of fortified positions in the field similar to engagements in the RussfoJapanese war. The trial of the aerial scout service proved it to be unsuccessful. The airship Parseval was captured, a rainstorm compelling it to descend in the enemy's territory. Itt another case the occupants of a dirigible were hoodwinked by sham field works, tree trunks arranged in imitation of guns, and the dirigible's -report led to preparations for an attack at daybreak.
