TOWN HALL, TO-NIGHT. It is by turns powerful and emotional, yet always natural and convincing. Miss Dal ton, as the .pretty Barbara. Hare, gjive iliafc somewhat negative character a most effective presentment, and dressed tho part very attractively. Miss M. Lancaster, as the strong-minded female, Corny Carlvle, caused roars of laughter by her very amusing acting, .and in the comic scenes w.as well-supported by Mr C. Keegan as the faithful but funny servitor of Carlvle. .Mr Charlie Taylor, as Captain Levison, was the cool calculating villian to tin* life, nnd Mr C. Archer, as Mr Carlvle, acted with a quiet earnestness that carried convict ion with if. All tho other parts worn done full justice to, and the final tableau showing Little Willie among the Angels w.as a very beautiful pictorial stage effect."'
